Cafés and Nightlife
The city’s liveliest cafés are clustered on Corso Vannucci, with the atmospheric old-world Pasticceria Sandri at no. 32 (closed Mon) a high spot for the sweet-toothed. The best place to indulge in local wines is at the Enoteca Provinciale at Via Ulisse Rocchi 16-18 (closed Sun), or for a selction of beers and whisky, there’s the inevitable Irish pub - Sullivan’s at Via del Bovaro 2 (closed Tues). The Australian Pub , Via del Verzaro 39 (closed Wed), is one of several places to lay on live music , with talking acquirable at the Bar Morlacchi , Piazza Morlacchi 6-8, and the Contrappunto Jazz Club , Via Scortici 4a (closed Mon). The majority of big clubs and discos are out of town; the most favourite exception is the central Sub Way , Via delle Prome 22 (closed Thurs).
